We are reprising our 2010 production of 'Allo 'Allo at the Petersfield Festival Hall from 9th to 11th June. This is the stage version of the hilarious BBC TV series of the same name, set in France during the second world war. Click here to find out more about the show and buy your tickets.
As Hilary Westbrook, John's widow, could not attend any of the Acorn Antiques performances due to prior commitments, she delegated the nomination of the John Westbrook Award for 2015 to Val Sykes. Val chose to award the trophy to Mandy Clowes, saying: 'When there are not so many people on stage, each member of the supporting cast is clearly visible and it is extra important to give it everything. Mandy was always fully involved om each scene she was in, acting and reacting to others very well. I loved the three backing "beehive" singers number and she was clearly really enjoying it,'

You get access to all of your favourite on-line and high street retailers and pay the same prices that you would normally - all that happens is that CUP receives a percentage of the total of your shopping, which can be as much as 3% of the amount you spend. Treasure Hunt - Sunday 28th August
Kaye and Tony are organising our annual FREE treasure hunt again on Sunday 28th August (the Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend). This is your chance to capture the magnificent trophy from Mark, Peter and Duncan (left) who have held it for the last two years.
As always it is a walking treasure hunt where you will need to exercise those little grey cells to solve the fiendish clues and collect one or two items of treasure along the way. So bring along your friends and family, plus a clipboard and pen or pencil to fill in the answers.
Parking at the start of the treasure hunt is free - but to identify the start location, you must solve this simple clue (and I shall say zis only once): The settlement was familiar in June.
We will publish another clue next week, so watch this space.
Olympic-Sized Quiz Night - Saturday 10th September
us or another of our fiendish quiz nights to
tease your brains. This is our first fund-raiser
of the new season and the quiz will include
rounds of all kinds: some great challenges, some
linked to the Olympics and some rather crafty,
but all great fun.
There will be a licensed bar and a raffle, plus fish and chip supper. Click here to find out more and buy your tickets - only £10 each.

Welcome to our new website!
Curtain Up! Productions is the new name for Denmead Operatic Society. Along with our new name, we decided that our website should also have a fresh new look, but although it appears very different from our old site, you'll still find all the information you need about the society and what we are up to. In addition, we will be incorporating some new facilities like a ticket booking system which will allow you to pay online using debit and credit cards and, where shows have allocated seats, even choose the seats you want to sit in.
We have news about the society, details of our forthcoming shows and social events, lots of pictures and information about past productions, plus all you need to know about getting in touch with us or joining the group. Click here to find out where things are on the site.
We began the year with our very first pantomime: another masterpiece from the ever flowing pen of our director, Ian Clark. Aladdin and the Princesses' Ball was presented on 30th and 31st January to very appreciative audiences. It had all the traditional panto elements: dames, a couple in love, slapstick comedy, plenty of songs, audience participation and loads of corny old jokes.
We've included some photos here to whet your appetite - click here to go to our panto show page to see what fun we had!
Finding your way around

To get to other pages, you can use the menu that runs along the top of every page (just beneath our logo) or the Main Menu which you will find on the left-hand side of most pages. Use the list below as a guide to where to find what you want:
