Curtain Up! Productions is a friendly, award-winning amateur theatre company. Whether you love being on stage or prefer to help behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.

Who we are looking for

We always welcome singers, actors, dancers and helpers of all ages (over 16). Whatever your talents — on stage or backstage — come along, meet new people, make friends and have fun.

• Performers for musicals, comedies, concerts and murder mysteries
• Backstage helpers — costumes, props, set, front of house and more
• People who enjoy social events as much as the shows themselves

How to join

The easiest way to start is to come along to a rehearsal and try us out for a few weeks — there is no obligation. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at The Church Hall, St John the Baptist, 120 Redhill Road, Rowlands Castle, Hampshire PO9 6DF.

More than the shows

Alongside our productions and concerts, members enjoy quizzes, skittles evenings, murder mystery nights, countryside walks and trips to other shows. It is a sociable company with a long history — founded in 1933 as Denmead Operatic Society — and a warm welcome for newcomers.
