Daisy Pulls It Off — November 2017
In November 2017 we staged Denise Deegan’s Olivier Award–winning comedy Daisy Pulls It Off — a parody of wholesome 1920s girls’ boarding-school adventure stories.
Energetic Daisy Meredith, a girl from a poor background, faced snobbish prejudice and schoolgirl pranks from the wealthier girls. With her best friend, zany Trixie Martin, she searched for the missing treasure that could save Grangewood School for Young Ladies — overcoming false accusations, saving enemies, and discovering a long-lost father along the way.
