We are reprising our 2010 production of 'Allo 'Allo at the Petersfield Festival Hall from 9th to 11th June. This is the stage version of the hilarious BBC TV series of the same name, set in France during the second world war. Click here to find out more about the show and buy your tickets.
As Hilary Westbrook, John's widow, could not attend any of the Acorn Antiques performances due to prior commitments, she delegated the nomination of the John Westbrook Award for 2015 to Val Sykes. Val chose to award the trophy to Mandy Clowes, saying: 'When there are not so many people on stage, each member of the supporting cast is clearly visible and it is extra important to give it everything. Mandy was always fully involved om each scene she was in, acting and reacting to others very well. I loved the three backing "beehive" singers number and she was clearly really enjoying it,'

You get access to all of your favourite on-line and high street retailers and pay the same prices that you would normally - all that happens is that CUP receives a percentage of the total of your shopping, which can be as much as 3% of the amount you spend. Note that we are still registered as Denmead Operatic Society with easyfundraising.

Treasure Hunt - Sunday 28th August 2016
Big thanks go to Kaye and Tony for organising our annual treasure hunt again on Sunday 28th August (the Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend). Despite the rather dismal weather there was a good turn-out and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Congratulations to Sam, Nathan, Mark and Nadine who were this year's winners of the fabulous trophy, by a margin of just one point - the same amount they lost by last year!
PS It was in Petersfield if you didn't get the clues.

Welcome to our new website!
Curtain Up! Productions is the new name for Denmead Operatic Society. Along with our new name, we decided that our website should also have a fresh new look, but although it appears very different from our old site, you'll still find all the information you need about the society and what we are up to. In addition, we will be incorporating some new facilities like a ticket booking system which will allow you to pay online using debit and credit cards and, where shows have allocated seats, even choose the seats you want to sit in.
We have news about the society, details of our forthcoming shows and social events, lots of pictures and information about past productions, plus all you need to know about getting in touch with us or joining the group. Click here to find out where things are on the site.
We began the year with our very first pantomime: another masterpiece from the ever flowing pen of our director, Ian Clark. Aladdin and the Princesses' Ball was presented on 30th and 31st January to very appreciative audiences. It had all the traditional panto elements: dames, a couple in love, slapstick comedy, plenty of songs, audience participation and loads of corny old jokes.
We've included some photos here to whet your appetite - click here to go to our panto show page to see what fun we had!
